Nick Carter Writing Tell-All Book About Backstreet Boys Journey & Family Substance Abuse!

So much Backstreet Boys bliss!!!
After the Backstreet Boys release their eighth album this summer, Nick Carter will go solo once more. But not for a solo album, for a personal book of memoirs!
Nick is currently working on a book, titled Facing The Music And Living To Talk About It. It’s currently set to be released this fall!
As the title insinuates, the book deals with some pretty heavy stuff. While there will be plenty of fun stories about his time at the peak of his BSB fame, there will also be stories of woe.
Nick will delve into family burdens, substance abuse, and alcohol abuse.
We’re sure Nick will also have a lot to say about younger siblings Aaron and Leslie Carter, as he is still recovering from the death of Leslie. She died last year at the young age of 25, battling an addiction to prescription drugs.
Although some of these topics will be incredibly sad, we’re sure the world can only benefit from hearing about substance abuse struggles from someone who lived through them and survived.
We can’t wait to delve into Nick’s full musings!!

Lindsay Lohan’s Substance Abuse: Liza Minnelli Was Asked To Attend Intervention!

If only Liza Minnelli HAD intervened…
Lindsay Lohan might have actually listened and saved herself a sh*tload of trouble!
The incomparable Mz. Minnelli was apparently asked by supposed close friend of Lindsay’s, celeb promoter Claus Hjelmbak, to take part in an intervention for the troubled starlet last December, but Liza could not attend because she was out of the country.
A source explains:
“Claus was desperate to do anything to try and save Lindsay’s life. He was so concerned for her well-being because of her continued use of prescription pills and booze. He reached out to Liza Minnelli’s camp, in the hope that she could help. Liza has battled her own demons with alcohol and has been very supportive publicly of Lindsay.”
Lindsay allegedly looks up to the screen and stage icon, so perhaps hearing it from the lips of someone she respects — unlike her FATHER Michael Lohan — and who has dealt with addiction issues for much of her life, Lilo might have conceded to seek help.
Unfortunately, Liza was NOT around for the intervention which never ended up happening anyway.
Ah well, here’s to hoping that Lindz’s upcoming stint in rehab will be the nail in her substance abuse coffin, and that she’ll embrace sobriety once and for all.
Otherwise we can’t help but fear the worst!
