Although people do plenty of joking about her ONLY writing songs about young love gone wrong, she knows she’s cornered the right market.
And her bank account knows it, too! Bam!
So don’t go expecting that to change as Swifty revealed how much she loves her little niche:
“I am happy to be your go-to break-up musician. People like music when they’re in love but they don’t need it as much. You need music when you’re missing someone or you’re pining for someone or you’re forgetting someone or you’re trying to process what just happened. The heartbroken are a special kind of people. When you’re in that spot, when you’re going through it, I’ll be there to hold your hand.”
Who better to hold our hand than someone who has been there time and time and time again?!
While she’s plenty revealing about her failed love life in her music, she doesn’t feel the need to be revealed online.
In fact, she thinks most people feel the same way about her! She admitted:
“People have busy lives. They don’t really care about every move I make. As much as if I were to Google myself there’d probably be a new blog post every 15 seconds, people don’t really care that much. I’m just happy they want to see me in concert or listen to me in their car or at home.”
We beg to differ!
People might have busy lives, but they also always make time to find out what’s up with Swifty!

Demi Lovato Says X Factor Will Be Much ‘More Relaxed’ Than Last Season!

Apparently American Idol isn’t the only singing competition show that’s in for some changes.
Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell will be returning to US X Factor this fall with yet-to-be-named fellow judges. However, the show’s third season will also feature a “more relaxed energy.”
According to Demi, Simon is planning on keeping things a bit more playful. She revealed:
“Simon even said, ‘Look, let’s just have fun. It’s all about having fun. Last year was really serious and this year it just needs to be having fun.’ I think it will be more relaxed.”
As for judging her second season, Demi said:
“I’m kind of come back as like it’s my second time, it’s not my first time anymore, so it’s more comfortable… And I feel like with that being said, I feel like I’m probably going to be more comfortable this year.”
In the meantime, the Heart Attack singer has kept herself busy with her music. It sounds like she couldn’t even wait to share her self-titled album Demi with her Lovatics:
“It feels pretty incredible. I’m really excited about it. It feels like Christmas except a Christmas that you only get certain years!”
Oh, Demi! It feels like Christmas to us, too!!

Nicki Minaj’s Attitude Too Much For American Idol?? No Return Next Season?!

Nicki Minaj has been bringing the diva this season on American Idol.
From her feud with Mariah Carey to her harsh comments to contestants, she’s a headline-maker! But could she be splashing her attitude around next season as well?!
A source close to the show revealed that Nicki’s return may not be so easy:
“The chances of Nicki returning to the show next season are slim to none, she is such a major headache with her behavior and it’s really taxing on many people with the crew. So her behavior is wearing thin on many people this season.”
YIKES!
Is this true?! We need confirmation!!
Whatever the case, we know she’s pissed about somethin’! Her Twitter rant today was INTENSE… but we wouldn’t have it any other way with our Minajesty… except maybe basking on a beach (beach)!

Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing Gets A Fab Trailer!!

Doth our eyes deceive us?? Is this a trailer for the long awaited Much Ado About Nothing from Joss Whedon??
It is!!
We LOVE that he takes the time out of his blockbuster schedules to do things like this (we hear that Dr. Horrible 2 will be shooting this year!), just so he can keep connected with his fans!
What better way to do that than have pretty much every Whedon alum in one place, including the wonderful and charismatic Nathan Fillion, who you might remember being this year’s winner for Best Dramatic TV Actor at the People’s Choice Awards!
If you couldn’t tell by the title, this is an adaptation of William Shakespeare‘s beloved comedy, with Alexis Denisof and Amy Acker in the roles of sparring lovers Benedick and Beatrice. It might have a contemporary setting, but will still use Shakespeare’s original text!
Shot in only 12 days, Joss did the whole thang right after Avengers — and if you couldn’t tell from our Whedoners (Whedon + boners!), we’re SUPER exciteballs to see it!
