Even though Demi is a millionaire in her own right and doesn’t NEED mo’ money from her soon-to-be ex-husband, that doesn’t mean she isn’t asking for the normal State-of-California divorce financial settlement, which generally calls for all assets to be split in HALF….
And currently, Ashton’s assests are HUGE, and we are surprisingly NOT talking about his penis!
A senior partner at a boutique LA family law firm explains:
“We all know that during their marriage, he probably made lots more money than her, and if there is no prenup, she is entitled to 50 percent of whatever he accumulated during marriage. Under California law, whatever you acquire together, whether it is a dollar or $ 100 million dollars, you split it in half.”
After replacing Charlie Sheen on unfathomably popular sitcom Two and a Half Men, Ashton reportedly made close to 24 Million in one season ALONE, and that’s just ONE of the ways Ashton gets income!
And while Demi has her elegant fingers in may production pies, she is still believed to be (currently) less well-off than her former lover.
And girl IS apparently seeking spousal support.
We just hope that these divorce proceeding are smooth, stress free, and DON’T turn into an ugly battle stemming from the want of money…
Although we do tend to think that Demi deserves some monetary compensation for dealing with Ashton’s cheating ass!

We had missed it so!!
It’s been far too long since we’ve seen these boos out and about (seriously… even a week without them is rough), but the ah-mazing Andrew Garfield and immaculate Emma Stone have shone their shine once again!
They could get photographed milking Donald Trump‘s prostate, and it would probably still bring a smile to our face!
These two are just that delightfully charming!
Cameras caught the lovely lovers walking through the NYC‘s West Village this morning and they were simply elated to be in each other’s company!
For most folk, a post-breakfast stroll is a dull affair. Emma & Andrew are not most people.
For them, every activity is an adventure!
We wonder what glorious goodies the E & A Express consumed at breakfast? Something topped with pretty rainbows and unicorn smiles!
Ugh! We LOVE this couple!!
After they finish filming Spider-Man 2, we hope they take a short break to get get married already and make cute babies, LOLz!!
