We have a special treat for you! We fell in love with Jackson Guthy’s music when we saw him open for Big Time Rush on tour last year and we are excited to premiere his brand new song “Everything You Do”!

Jackson will be performing on the Ellen Show this Friday and making a big announcement, but we had the chance to chat with him first about what’s next for him.

-We are so excited to premiere your new song! What was the inspiration for “Everything You Do”?
It’s really about two people going through a relationship and dealing with all that comes with it. Pain, love, and forgiveness.

-How would you say this song compares to what we’ve heard from you in the past?
It’s definitely a new direction for me, I was starting to go down a lane that I didn’t feel 100% confident with so this is me, this is my true sound.

-You’ve been in the studio working with people like Alex Marshall of The Cab, etc. What can fans expect with the new songs?
Alex is an unbelievable producer and an amazing friend, I have been so lucky work with him. My new music is definitely going to have my fans excited and I’m putting a two part mixtape out called Launch and Collision, they will be free on my website. Launch is out May 1st, Collision is out before summer.

-We loved seeing you open for Big Time Rush last year. Will you be hitting the road again anytime soon?
Yeah I will this summer and I’m really excited! I’m announcing my tour Friday on The Ellen Show so tune in!

-Any message for your fans?
Just always try your best and never let anyone bring you down. Your ladder extends to the moon and it’s up to you to take the climb.
