(Reuters) – Former Beatle Ringo Starr is lifting the lid on a collection of previously unseen photographs of the Fab Four in their heyday from his personal collection, in a new photography book due out next month. "Photograph," which will be released as an e-book on Apple's iBookstore on June 12, will coincide with a Grammy Museum exhibit on Starr, entitled "Ringo: Peace & Love," the book's publishers said on Wednesday. A limited-edition hand-bound book signed by Starr will be available for purchase in December. …

Cameras caught up to Frank Ocean on the red carpet at the TIME 100 Gala and the young singer-songwriter BLEW our minds with a massively interesting reveal about his next album!
Traveling a few decades back for musical inspiration, the 25-year-old Thinkin About You singer is frankly — see what we did there?? — tapping into genres of music that we did not expect!!
“When I was making the first [album] there were a group of artists that I listened to, just for inspiration and to absorb the energies. It was a lot of Stevie Wonder, and this time it’s a lot of Beach Boys and Beatles and whatnot, so we’ll see how it trickles into the music and the final product. I can’t say much other than that.”
Whoa!! The Beach Boys & The Beatles?!? Color us intrigued!!!

Yoko Ono, the woman who is notoriously blamed for the breakup of The Beatles, is adamant that she did NOT cause the band’s fallout…
But Paul McCartney‘s selfishness did?!
In a recently unearthed 1987 interview, Mz. Ono shares:
“The Beatles were getting very independent. Each one of them [was] getting independent. John, in fact, was not the first who wanted to leave the Beatles. [We saw] Ringo [Starr] one night with Maureen [Starkey Tigrett], and he came to John and me and said he wanted to leave. George [Harrison] was next, and then John. Paul [McCartney] was the only one trying to hold the Beatles together. But the other three thought Paul would hold the Beatles together as his band. They were getting to be like Paul’s band, which they didn’t like.”
OK, so Yoko isn’t exactly saying it was Paul’s fault, she seems to insinuate that his tight grip on the band was just one out of a myriad of reasons for the split.
Apparently, the band’s end also caused issues in Yoko’s relationship with John Lennon, as he apparently expected her to fill the whole that was left gaping after the breakup!
We can’t even imagine what it must be like to realize that the band with whom you’ve experienced such success with — a four-way relationship you’ve had for SO long — is tearing at the seams.
