While presenting Justin Bieber with the ‘Top Male Artist’ award during last night’s 2013 Billboard Music Awards ceremony, our MileyBird dropped the news that her comeback single, We Can’t Stop, will be out VERY shortly – June 3rd, in fact!
Ch-ch-check out the announcement….AFTER THE JUMP!!!
But don’t worry! That’s FAR from all she shared about the Mike Will Made It-produced tune!
As she explains:
“It really is an inspiring song for my fans. We don’t care, we can do what we want. They really believed in me the whole time. I feel like this song really is for them and how I feel—that I can’t stop and I’m going to be who I am and they should be who they are and that they can’t stop and not one can stop us. I’ve had this single ready for about a year, and I’ve had to keep my lips sealed and just not saying anything. So you’ll see.”
“I know pictures are flying around. You guys will have to wait and see.”
GAH! But we’ve been WAITING so long, gurl!
But hey! We’re at least thankful to now know that We Can’t Stop will be out soon enough to possibly become one of this year’s BEST summer jams!
But like she says…WE’LL SEE!
What do U think? Are U excited for We Can’t Stop??

SG has officially announced her world tour!
The Selena Gomez Stars Dance Tour 2013 will be kicking off in British Columbia in August and will feature a TON of new music from the starlet. Check out a full list of dates below and remember, tickets will be available for pre-sale on Wednesday, April 17th, so don’t forget to grab your ticket before they sell out!
The Tour will begin in North America on Oct. 10 and will run through Nov. 20, Selena announced.
About the tour, Selena told Ryan Seacrest, “It’s going to be a bigger show. I’m excited. I’ve been dancing a lot and I just want to entertain people and I’m super stoked. … I kind of missed shows when it used to just be about the dancing and the performing as opposed to how big and elaborate the stage is so I kind of want to get back to that. My favorites were Britney [Spears] and Janet Jackson so I kind of want it to be a bit more dancing and make it about entertainment and about the show and the songs as opposed to how big the stage and effects are.”
Will you guys be attending one of Selena’s shows?

FX is looking to make some big moves this fall as they recently announced they will be launching a new network later this year!
Network President John Landgraf confirmed their plans to launch of of their new channel, FXX on September 2nd. That’s right. It’s like FX, just with another X. How original!
FXX will aim for a target audience of 18-34 year olds, a demographic that shouldn’t be to hard to reach considering the network will be inheriting HIGHlarious veteran shows like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League when their new seasons start!
The new channel will also feature reruns of classics like Rescue Me and Arrested Development, which is definitely a good thing because who doesn’t love the Bluths??
While FX is certainly lending a helping hand to their new baby bro, they aren’t giving up hits like Louie, Archer, or Wilfred, meaning they will probably have to launch a few pilots for original programming. But considering the network’s recent track record with comedies, that probably won’t be too difficult!
We’re always down for a good laugh, so we’re definitely looking forward to FXX! Hopefully it can keep up with the rest in this golden age for cable television!
